Our instructors at The Ottawa Performance Academy have performing experience,and are familiar with varied styles of music, have a deep appreciation of music and look forward to sharing the excitement of playing drums with their students. We offer the lessons training on a real set of drums. A complete set of Electronic Drums are also available to use on request.We also teach Conga and Bongos and a variety of Latin Percussion Instruments.

Flute Lessons Classes in Ottawa
Whether you're in the school band, or just taking this instrument up for pleasure, a varied and interesting repertoire is available in classical, and other styles. Beginners to Advanced students are welcome! Improve tone, technique and musicianship in a supportive environment. What is so great about taking private flute lessons? You learn all the tricks the professionals know from your teacher. What if you aren't taking lessons and you want to play better than you already do? In most cases you have to make do with help from your band director.
This can be great if your band director plays the flute, but chances are, he or she plays something else like trumpet, drums or clarinet. What this means is they know a lot about teaching band skills like counting together, playing the right notes and playing in tune, but not a whole lot about the special techniques only flute players really know about.

We will lend you a guitar, no charge! These eight weeks are a minimum requirement for the teacher to make an honest evaluation.
Royal Conservatory Examinations for Classical guitar students are available. If you already can play and want to improve your technique, you may choose the amount of time per week you would like your lessons to be.

Piano Lessons and Keyboard Classes in Ottawa
Two Baby Grand pianos and 6 upright studio pianos
are used at our facilities. Lessons are usually once a week and are available
at 1/2hr, 45min, and 1 hour sessions. Beginners will start with 1/2 hour
lessons and usually advance to more time according to their personal
advancement. All teachers are qualified instructors and are versed on the Royal
Conservatory method. Students wishing to take exams are prepared to do so and
are fully guided through the process.
For those students wishing to take piano on a non classical basis, we offer Jazz, Boogie, Rock, and Contemporary piano as well.

Saxophone and Clarinet Lessons Classes In Ottawa
This program is offered to students wishing to improve their skills for the school band or simply for the individual who want to try a reed instrument. Taught by professional musicians, we welcome the novice to the advanced students.
